TEACHERS MAKE A DIFFERENCE
Education is the “Key to Success” for our children and in turn the future of our community and our country. Our children are our leaders of tomorrow but they need great teachers to be inspired and achieve.
We are in the 21st century and facing a shortage of dedicated teachers and classroom resources. We need to encourage the youth of America to enter the field of education and become those dedicated, inspired and committed individuals who will stay the course.

MISSION STATEMENT
ALPHA BETA FOUNDATION HAS A TWOFOLD MISSION
​
Grant scholarships to qualified seniors from Staten High Schools who have exhibited scholarship, leadership, citizenship, work ethic and community involvement entering college in the pursuit of a career in education.
To advance the interest of men and women in the field of education, and to encourage support for the next generation of teachers to better our community.
Alpha Beta Foundation is committed to bringing the positive mission to fruition by properly divesting funds with a two-fold strategy:
Support for Early Career Educators (SECE) by giving stipends to teachers for the purchase of books for reading corners, supplies for STEM activities, bulletin boards and many other needed classroom materials to create a positive learning environment.
